Also the use of Black in the book has connotations of black being some colour that has been used historically to mean something bad or painful. The book also looks at the choices made by women in an effort to be normal. The book is borne out of observations of the good deeds of women and yet also observing that much as women are good but they also deal with hardships and fears, some caused by them and some not their own doing.

Biographie de l'auteur

Palesa Pitso is a South African woman, born in Umlazi Township, Durban and raised by very loving and humble grandparents. Her love of books grew from a very young age until she decided to write her own book. Palesa has a teaching background having studied up to Honours level and taught at different High Schools for 11 years. She now is in the Public Relations and Marketing field. One of her friends describes her as a woman who has "love for all" because of her ability to accommodate every person and finding goodness in people.
