This book honors the dead who sacrificed much to benefit or bring joy of others (e.g, Michael Jackson) or those who died unjustly at the hands of the unjust (e.g, Emmett Till). Biographie de l'auteur

As Professor Emeritus, Dr. Frederick Douglas Harper retired as university professor in June 2012 after 42 years of teaching and service to Howard University. He is presently a full-time writer who has published 12 poem books, one major novel (The Durabone Prophecies), and several textbooks. He has also served as Editor-in-Chief of three different scholarly journals. Harper has presented conference papers throughout the U.S. as well as in other countries including Argentina, France, Greece, India, Ireland, Sweden, and the Netherlands. A devoted jogger, Harper has jogged more than 41,000 miles in his lifetime. He is the proud father of two sons and four grandchildren.
