My name is Nancy R. Garcia I was born in Reedley California. I come from a large Mexican-American Family, four brothers and three sisters. We moved to Fresno in the early sixties, where I started scribbling on my garage walls, as I did laundry with our old ringer type Maytag washing machine. I have always prayed and dreamed of being a published author. I have been working since age five with my parents and siblings; whether it was, picking boysenberries, grapes, and cotton or working 10 hours on a tomato harvester machine. I am proud to be a child of farm working parents; its their hard work that has shaped all of us into what we are today. I love Fresno and I will never leave. Fresno is home.
