Synopsis

In my first book Man Becoming More I presented six short stories about what direction evolution and technology might take Mankind. Soul Mates is based on the ongoing research of our brain neurological function and medical physiology. It is not impossible to imagine the possibility that human thought and personality can be copied for future generations on a data chip. Soul Mates suggest one route that the future might take when man moves to colonize other worlds. In the future our descendants might be able to leave more than just photographs of themselves but a exact cyber copy of that ancestor and the knowledge gained over a life time. Soul Mates is my idea of death not necessarily being the end of existence. We may be able to attain a new alternate reality through the use of computer and cyborg technology. Perhaps that is what heaven is?
