Synopsis
Cyborg Burns is a misguided, eccentric Bounty Hunter/Personal trainer in Las Vegas, and the self proclaimed “World Heavyweight Champion of Dating.”After a recently failed engagement, Cyborg decides to turn his life around by establishing a unique set of “Rules” for dating. In an unconventional move, Cyborg decides to post these “Rules” to the two largest online dating sites in the world. Within 24 hours of posting his new approach to dating, Cyborg receives 30 solicitations from women who like his new concept, The 1 Week Relationship.Unlike traditional approaches to dating, Cyborg proposes that women commit to him exclusively for a week, in exchange for him doing the same. The “Rules” require three dates within the week, NO SEX, total monogamy, and at least 1 phone call per day.Despite ignoring him for months earlier, the women on the dating sites are now all eager to meet Cyborg, and experience this new approach to monogamous dating.Over the next 3 months, Cyborg finds nothing but strings of women who cannot follow the “Rules,” despite their initial enthusiasm for monogamy. Those who do appear to care more about Cyborg’s bank account than his personality and character. After six failed “experiments,” Cyborg considers tossing in the towel, leading to a surprising twist of fate.The 1 Week Relationship is a story about taking control of the insane world of dating,establishing rules, minimizing heartache, and believing in the miracle of monogamy.
