She has been an animal cruelty investigator, veterinary technician, professional pet sitter, animal rescuer, and certified euthanasia technician. She lives in East Tennessee with her wife and fur-family. She is the author of "Secrets of a Vet Tech II: A Low Cost Pet Care Guide for Pet Parents, Animal Shelters, Rescues, & Homesteaders", among several other books.
