Georgette's passion for writing was discovered during times of intense pain and struggle in her life. What transpired from her intimate moments alone with God brought forth some heatfelt poems and lessons learned which offered hope and encouragement to her then weary soul. Now that God has delivered her from her worries, her mission in life is to teach others through her writings how to enter into the rest of God. Georgette D. Jackson is also the founder of Divine Rest, Incorporated, a Non-Profit organization to benefit single, homeless women. She is a mother and a grandmother, who loves her family and desires to pen words of comfort, healing and hope. Georgette resides in the beautiful city of Savannah, GA with two of her grandchildren, Destiny and Marcus whom she is raising after the death of her youngest daughter, Dee.
