Calvin has been content to live as an unseen observer of life, much like a street urchin standing in the cold of the evening while peering through a window at a lavish party to which he has not been invited. Year after year, life, much like the party guests, has taken no notice of the face pressed against the window glass. However, this is to change. A maelstrom of questions now challenges Calvin's existence and is awakening an unrecognizable force within him, a force that is whittling away at the meager foundation of Calvin's being, creating an uncharacteristic and uncontrollable rage. This festering rage is an emotion that is dormant within all of us, patiently waiting for the time when it's nurturing will end and it will be released. With each rising sun our lives abate With each setting sun we seal our fate Reflections of the Invisible is an interior monologue of an aging man's perceptions, questions, thoughts, and feelings as they are being shaped by distant memories and by current events that seem to conspire to alienate him from the world and to make him an unwelcome visitor within the society of man.
