About the Author

Darrell D. Young retired early from his position as a professor of General Science and Science Education at SUNY in Buffalo, New York, to care for his wife, Judith. He has a BA from the University of Northern Iowa, an MA from the University of Northern Colorado, and a DEd from SUNY. In his youth, he served in the U.S. Army as a clerk typist before getting his education and becoming a teacher. He has traveled extensively in the UK. His interests range from finance and investing to botany and fishing.
