Synopsis

Surviving the Streets is Paula Villarroel's personal tale of rising from the ashes to achieve a successful life. She believes we all have the power to break whatever chains hold us down and the generational shortcomings that often destroy a family line. All too often, we limit ourselves by our past experiences and we convince ourselves that because of our childhood or current circumstances we aren't meant for more. This could not be farther from the truth.

Paula wrote this book hoping to change the way people think by giving a firsthand look into her life on the streets for over five years. She wants readers to know that, despite life's challenges, you can still push through the road blocks, break down the barriers, and make a successful life happen. She hopes her tale will motivate, encourage, and inspire you to change the way you think and feel to become empowered to accomplish your goals. We have to focus on becoming better as individuals to make each generation better.
