Synopsis

Twelve year old Stacy Aaronson finds her family unexpected uprooted from their Utah home and called on a church mission a thousand miles away. While dealing with an uncomfortable new enviornment, Stacy comes face to face with her testimony when forced to evaluate her Mormon faith and why the Church would expect such sacrifices with litle explanation. The answer would come with the ushering in of the Lord's Second Coming and start of the Millennium. Made easier with the unexpected discovery of new friends, she faces not only the biggest changes of her life, but changes impacting the entire world around her.

À propos de l'auteur

Born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Steve loved living in the sandy southwestern United States. He currently lives in Colorado with his wife of 30 years, two sons and two granddaughters. Steve joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1982, at the age of 21. He and his wife were married and sealed in the Washington D.C. temple, in 1984. They remain faithful members of the Church today. Steve’s faith in God was fostered by his father, a devote Catholic. His father taught by example and instilled a love for God and faithful living. Aside from Steve’s full-time position as Manager of a software development group, he loves to work at home remodeling and knits whenever time allows. Above all, he enjoys the company of his precious granddaughters. Wind of Fire is the first title Steve has self-published, but he enjoys writing about faith and other works are on the way. Steve felt impressed to tell a fictional account contrasting the modern Mormon experience with life in the Millennium, but his other writings will not necessary follow Mormon themes. Steve’s desire is to help readers examine their faith and inspire them to draw closer to God, regardless of any church or religious affiliation.
