This novel is the sequel to The 101 Ranch. Jim Harris and Josh Lohman are two orphans who have been called upon again to save the ranch of Henry Gilchrist who is the father of Norma who called Jim Harris a killer of men but tries so hard to make him understand how sorry she is when she finds herself deeply in love with him. Jim's partner Josh is in love with Norma's cousin Linda. It takes a few gunfights to bring a group of rustlers and a paid assassin who are working for the top ringleader and his fast draw gunman to justice. The two partners cannot be separated.
