With over eight decades of wonderful stories to tell, Australian author Pauline Cash shares her invaluable insights and wisdom with the children and parents of a new Millennium. Her love of all things Australian are woven into every book, sure to strike a deep chord with all those who have been touched by this ancient land. Another motivation to write has actually been the loss of two of the author's five children to Cancer. In April 2012, Ms. Cash was prime benefactor of the Garvan Australia Spectacular. Featuring the Sydney International Orchestra, the Australian Army Band and VOX – the Sydney Philharmonia’s Youth Choir, this family concert included a variety of musical genres along with a tribute to the Anzac Spirit and Australian talent. Importantly, it also helped to raise vital funds for Cancer research at Sydney’s Garvan Institute of Medical Research. The very first edition of 'How Gecko Got His Knob Tail' was launched at this function.
