Synopsis
When David Deerfield humiliates a red-haired muscleman for harassing his daughter, he never imagines the nightmare to follow. First, he receives a threatening phone call: “David, this is Agent Blue. You should not have messed with Hershel and Red.” Then, a vicious, prolonged attack by the IRS begins. Grinding him down relentlessly, the IRS destroys his business and confiscates his home and money. During the ordeal, his wife dies.
Widowed and homeless, David’s sole purpose is retribution—he aims to find the person who orchestrated the IRS attacks and get revenge. But with only the names Hershel, Red, and Agent Blue to work with, he faces a daunting challenge. Who are they? And where can he find them? Each lead becomes a dead end, until he meets Cheryl. She claims that Agent Blue has ordered a psychopathic killer to end her life over some incriminating computer files she possesses. Furthermore, Agent Blue has added David to their hit list.
Realizing they share murderous mutual enemies, David and Cheryl combine forces to first elude and then lure the killers into a trap, only to discover that they are no closer to uncovering the true identity of Agent Blue, as well as the psychotic motivation behind the vicious IRS attacks.
