William Hemmans graduated high school from Manatee High School located in Bradenton FL (We have the best High School Football team in the country THE MANATEE HURRICANES) William Hemmans joined the United States Army and achieved the rank of Sergeant (E-5) 16T Patriot Missile System) despite those who said I could not achieve the rank of Sergeant in 4 years starting from Private (E-1). William completed his tour of duty with an honorable discharge and attended State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota earning an Associate of Arts degree. William attended Florida A&M University (Rattlers) earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science/Psychology. William is currently enrolled at the University of South Florida seeking to earn a Masters in Counseling and is presently employed at Mental Health Care, Inc. located in Tampa FL (working with youth and families). I don't believe I would be alive today if Mr. Carl Weeks who was Program Director at the Desoto Boys and Girls Club located in Bradenton Florida had not hired me at the age of 13 to keep me off the streets and out of other negative environments. From helping my younger sister and younger brother when my father left us when I was 5 years of age to working with youth at the Boy’s Club, I have always worked with adolescents, teenagers and adults...
