Synopsis
There s Mr. Stranger, a greedy, arrogant lawyer that is trying to steal his stepson s trust fund. There s Bart, his stepson, who is forced to hide out in a monastery to avoid being found by the stepfather s private detective. Bart has own personal problem, which is trying to say the difficult four-letter word, love. There s Carol, Bart s older sister, who thinks she may have found Mr. Right, but Mr. Right is ready for some loving but not any kind of commitment. There s Tony Koole, a gangster, who is hot on the trail of Bart s girlfriend, whom he suspects stole his brief case containing cocaine worth two million dollars. There s Abbot Aloysius, a kind gentle monk, who doesn t have any idea someone may be growing marijuana in the monastery s huge forest. Finally after a dozen twists and turns, there is a surprise ending.

Biographie de l'auteur
Dr. Plotnik is a psychologist, former college professor, and author of a popular psychology textbook, Introduction to Psychology, which is used in colleges across the country and translated into several foreign languages. His textbook is known for its friendly writing style, use of fascinating case studies, and detailed descriptions of peoples personalities and problems. Dr. Plotnik has combined his expertise in psychology. friendly writing style, and experience in dealing with thousand of students to write a novel, Greed versus Goodness. Some of the novels interesting characters are motivated by greed while others strive to do the right thing. The reader has a chance to watch a classic battle between good and evil, pain and pleasure, success and failure. Dr. Plotnik lives in San Diego, which he thinks may be as close to heaven on earth as there is. As an amateur bird watcher he can now tell a giant white egret from a hummingbird. He likes to watch the sunset and every now and then sees the famous green flash, which appears just as the sun drops into the ocean.
