God the Son withstood the most gruesome abuse, and ultimate death by man, His own creation, to redeem you back to the Father; that's real love. Brenda Leffall McGibboney is a widow, a mother and grandmother of two adult children, and two grandchildren. Brenda is from the great state of Texas, Dallas is her hometown. She has lived in various parts of the United States, but now makes Greensboro, North Carolina her home. Brenda has earned a bachelor of Social Work (BSW), from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, in Greensboro, North Carolina, and a Master of Social Work (MSW), from University of South Carolina, in Columbia South Carolina. Brenda has many life experiences which she use to help advocate for those who are hurting and abused in life. She has worked in shelters with families of domestic violence, worked in mental health facilities, and extensive work with families in crises. She recently retired as a social worker working with families in Child Protective Services. Brenda published her first book last year, titled Come and Dine with Me, which is listed with Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and other book distributors. Brenda is a licensed Evangelist/Missionary working with outreach ministries in her local church and a Sunday School teacher. Brenda is the Founder/President of Renewal Center for Battered Women Ministries, Inc. This ministry was Holy Spirit inspired. The Lord Jesus Christ who wants His people to know that they have the cure to stop domestic violence in their lives. There is hope, and that hope is in Christ Jesus.
