Biographie de l'auteur

Mrs. Mulhern is a 25 year veteran of childcare. Starting in 1986 as a nanny for 3 children, she then went on to In-home childcare, and eventually opened the first of 3 childcare centers with off-site viewing for parents, video supervision of staff by an RN and a menu with fresh organic baby food. After 4 years she returned to in-home childcare, realizing it was working with the children that was her passion. Mrs. Mulhern has been a long time advocate for in-home childcare providers. She has advocated for better pay from state and county organizations, as well as fair licensing standards and changes to the food program in order to improve the dietary requirements. Theresa currently lives with her husband and the youngest four of their eight children in West Des Moines, Iowa.
