Growing up in the traditional family where there are at least three generations living together. My grandmother always told us many fairy tales based on what she has collected during her lifetime. Sometimes, the fairy was the answer for the question we came up with. It was the story of how mosquitos were created or the lesson of faithfulness. The more I grow, the more I appreciate my grandmother's patience. Days by days, those stories built up my creativeness and belief. I believe that everything happens for a reason and the world is a colorful entity. The first children's book my mother got me with the money she had saved from cutting back other expenses for the family always stays in my mind. Thus, I treasured the little book with all my heart and I would spend hours reading it over and over again, lingering on every page and every beautiful picture, wishing the story would never end. Each day, my passion for children fairy books grew more and more; and I decided that was the dream and career I wanted to pursue. I have spent days and nights to answer the question how fairy tales affect children's growth as an artist's visualization. At first, fairy tales tell a little boy that one day, he will become a prince to rescue his princess. The fairy will give him a magic sword and a dragon to support him to fly above all enemies running below, trying to kill him with their incompatible weapons. Legends tell kids nothing is impossible. Legends teach adults that life is much easier if you believe. Also, legends tell a little girl about all princesses who are beautiful in nature, they have good hearts and love to help poor people. Those princesses have to overcome hard situations to survive as well as they have to be patient to wait for their true love to come recuse them then they can live happily forever after.
