Jane Vire Tichenor has been an educator for 44 years: 17 elementary school and 27 college. She received her B.S. from Oakland City University and her M.S. from Indiana University. Jane received OCU’s Alumnus of the Year award, Ivy Tech Community College’s President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, Glenn W. Sample Award for Excellence in Teaching, and National Association for Developmental Education Award for Outstanding Service to Developmental Education Students. Professor Tichenor has had articles published in Teaching for Success and other professional publications. She has also had two books of puppet scripts published by Stinson Press, Inc.
