Martin S. Fidler was born in 1918 to Alma and Spurgeon Fidler in Columbia , PA. Martin was the oldest of 6 children. He spent most of his life in Columbia, PA except for some time in Detroit, Korea and Boston. Martin loves the Lord and planned to be a minister but the Great Depression and then WWII made this dream impossible, instead he entered the US postal system and had a very successful career going from foot delivery to post master. Penn State University offered a "Go 60" opportunity so at the age of 68, Martin received his college degree. Mr. Fidler was a certified lay minister in the Evangelical United Brethren Church and spoke in many local churches. Martin wrote many short stories and devotionals and in his later years decided to put a devotional book together for his family based on some of his life experiences..
