Presenting a play on the stage is a very special kind of story telling. In addition to 32 years of directing five or six plays per academic year at Hanover College other artistic locales where the author has worked include Circle Repertory in New York (The Diviners); New Playwrights of Washington, DC (And They Dance Real Slow in Jackson); Fulton Opera House, Lancaster, PA (Grace and Glorie); Creede Repertory in Colorado (Dancing at Lughnasa); Phoenix Theatre, Indianapolis (Wit); Monomoy Theatre, Cape Cod (The Foreigner); BPP, Bloomington, IN (Talley’s Folly); Hartt School, Hartford, CT (The Cripple of Innishman); Kaleidoscope Players in Raton, NM (Foxfire, Last Train to Nibroc, Driving Miss Daisy) and South Carolina Rep (Doubt, The Seafarer, The Cocktail Hour, among many others). A number of these productions starred his Equity actress wife, Barbara Farrar.
