À propos de l'auteur

Charles King, born in Albany, New York, was a United States soldier (he graduated from West Point in 1866), a military historian, and a distinguished writer. He wrote and edited over 60 books and novels. Among his list of titles are Campaigning with Crook, Fort Frayne, Under Fire, Daughter of the Sioux, and An Apache Princess. Charles King routinely sat on the porch of the Holt house at the Saint John’s Military Academy campus telling cadets, which included his grandson, tales of the Wild West, a favorite subject of his.
