Synopsis

Elegance, grace, and poise come with a good woman’s personality. It’s who she portrays herself as in public. It’s how even though she may be very mature, she still knows how to have fun without getting carried away. It’s when she walks into a room and everyone in it takes notice of her confidence. It’s when, even if she’s sad or upset about something, she still resembles happiness and joy on her face when need be. Being beautiful doesn’t require the latest makeup or the most recent breakthrough of acne medication, it’s how you feel about yourself. Confidence is key and when you reveal that confidence, you also show a sense of beauty that no amount of makeup or face wash can beat. If you don’t believe you’re a lady, then you won’t be one. Being a Real Woman is more than having nice clothes, a good job, and a fancy car. It's not about being the best mother, friend, or wife. It's having a positive attitude, self-confidence, and courage. À propos de l'auteur

Courtney Alexis was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, but raised in Sylvania, Ohio, a suburb of Toledo, Ohio. During her senior year of high school, Courtney realized her passion for expressing herself on paper when her English teacher opened her eyes to the creativity and flexibility of writing. After high school Courtney entered into her college years where she currently majors in journalism, with a minor in substance abuse counseling, at the University of Cincinnati. To support school and her move to Chicago in the near future, Courtney works as a server at a high end Mexican restaurant. In addition to her college studies and waitressing, Courtney has done some modeling on the side, but her true passion is writing to inspire and empower women on her blog Courtney’s Writings which focuses on love, faith, and life. Courtney’s ability to write provides a venue to express her inner emotions, thoughts, and feelings, while simultaneously teaching women to overcome past relationships and rediscover their faith to become stronger, more independent women. Courtney inspiration comes from her mother who sacrificed many things in life to give her and her sister a comfortable, secure environment to grow up in. Seeing her mother overcome devastation, yet find her strength and faith in God, showed Courtney that women can rebuild and rebound no matter what life throws at them. Courtney resides in Ottawa HIlls, Ohio, to be closer to her family, and is preparing for the next phase of her life. With her life filled with college, work, and writing for the masses, she finds time relaxing by spending time with her cat, Cale, reading comic books, playing World of Warcraft, and serving as a worship leader for the high school and junior high worship band.
