After several years abroad, Amelia Seiler and her husband, Bryan, had the option to settle anywhere in the United States. They chose Rochester, New York. Therefore it is no surprise that Amelia set her first mystery, Break Point, in Rochester in the Eastlake Victorian where they first lived after their return. The sequel, The Smallest Things, takes place in the three-hundred-year-old house which was their home while they lived in London. Never the sort to stay in one place for long, Amelia and her husband are still frequent flyers. However, they are just as likely to rent a houseboat or pack up their dog and their two cats in their travel trailer and take an extended trip across the United States. Whether at home or off on an adventure, Amelia always finds time to dream up stories.
