John Hodgson is best known for his down-to-earth approach to business and business people. A career spanning 40 years in retail, manufacturing and the service sector in Europe, Asia and America. Experience that includes start-up and acquisition. Not surprising, the British Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Directors employed him as a consultant, mentor, trainer and lecturer. His series of mini 'self-help' books each take less than 30 minutes to read. First was Tip Tips: Interviewing followed by Top Tips: Writing a CV/Resume and his most recent book is The Interview Bible. His Test Your Financial Awareness, published by Hodder & Stoughton is out of print but a re-launch is on the horizon. John and his wife Anyta celebrated their golden wedding in September 2012. They have three children and eight grandchildren. In his spare time John enjoys golf and fly-fishing. He says golf is easier.
