À propos de l'auteur

Dr. Beverly A. Wixon (Dr. Wixy) has over 20 years of public school classroom teaching experience as well as over 10 years of mentoring and coaching new teachers. She has mentored several beginning teachers and interns, plus she has coached many veteran teachers through difficult and challenging times. Dr. Wixy earned her Bachelor’s degree in English at the University of South Florida, her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Southern Mississippi, and her Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Walden University. One of Dr. Wixy’s passions is to help keep quality teachers in public school classrooms by easing their frustrations, assisting them in balancing their work lives with their home lives, re-igniting their passions for teaching, and reversing burn-out. That passion led to this book. She relaxes by enjoying her pets, frequently visiting Walt Disney World, learning new activities, and enjoying the beautiful sunshine of Florida. Aside from teaching and writing, Dr. Wixy is also a certified life coach.
