It was a love doomed from the very start, she knew it and so did he. Ashwin Solanki was a married man and related to the powerful president of the ruling Prajya Party. He had resigned from the Indian Administrative services to join politics at the behest of his uncle. A man of many talents, he would have preferred to lead a simple life but he had to live the dream of his uncle. It took a bomb blast, thousands of miles away from India, where Sukriti had gone on her journalistic mission; for Ashwin Solanki to realize that he was in love with her. Forces beyond their control brought them together. Sukriti was often haunted by guilt and even went away leaving without any trace but their paths crossed again. This time Sukriti did not want to resist the yearning of her heart, but fates had contrived otherwise . . .
