Charanjit Ahuja is a recipient of the prestigious National Award in Developmental Journalism that is awarded by the Government of Himachal Pradesh to only one journalist in a year who is chosen by a jury from across all states and union territories in India. Masters in English from the Panjab University, with Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (Humanities), Post Graduation in Journalism and a Certificate Course from National Film and TV Institute, Charanjit Ahuja has worked with national dailies, both the Indian Express and the Financial Daily, The Financial Express as Sub Editor, Staff Reporter, Senior Staff Correspondent, Principal Correspondent, Special Correspondent and has headed the Bureau for many years. He has taught journalism at Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan and DAV PG College as a guest faculty. Thousands of his news stories and articles can be found and read in Google search(Charanjit Ahuja,The Indian Express/The Financial Express). Bharat Hiteshi quit banking as a senior functionary to make forays into journalism. He began his innings as a TV journalist when he worked on script writing, anchoring, reporting and editing for a national TV channel. Then he moved o a national daily, the Hindustan Times to write for this newspaper. He also worked for a popular Hindi daily newspaper, the Punjab Kesari and made a name for himself in a short span. Finally he established himself as a columnist and wrote numerous articles/middles for national dailies like The Tribune and the Daily Post to name a few. He also penned scholarly articles for the prestigious magazine of Press of Chandigarh.
