Synopsis

Emotions, is based on a journey throughout my life which is expressed through poems and spoken-words. It highlights the challenges faced due to the choices made and the consequent setbacks, stagnancy or growth. This book seeks to paint a picture for the reader of the emotional turmoil encounter from an early age that has the ability to trap you in a particular state of existence for years to follow. The impact on my Christian walk and the resulting cycle of unrest and indecisiveness inspired this poetry. The cycle of emotional instability is broken upon my return to the presence of God with the elevation to a place of peace and growth in all areas of my life.

Biographie de l'auteur

Jean was born in London England in 1965 and is the younger of two children. On 1st July 1989 Jean married the father of her two children, Craig and Ayesia. Jean went on to have an additional two children Taleeba and Shekinah with her husband; however the marriage broke down and ended 12th June 2001. In July 2005 Jean immigrated to Brampton in Canada with her four children, where she now attends New Birth Tabernacle church and has a leadership role in mentoring. Her passion is to teach about being a good steward and setting people free from financial bondage by going "Back to Basic" the Bible way.
