It takes the reader from the beginning of the universe to the first living cells on Earth, to the first multicellular organism, and then to the formation of modern organisms. Blume uniquely utilizes thought experiments that the readers can easily do, which allow them to figure what may and may not have happened during the early steps on the pathway to the formation of multicellular organisms.

Biographie de l'auteur

Blume's dad was an author. He wrote The Dark Side of Power, the story of Armand Hammer and Occidental Petroleum, published by Simon & Schuster. So writing is in his genes. Blume is a dentist who graduated from the University of Southern California. The courses he took at USC were more than enough to provide him with a master's degree in biological sciences. Blume began a research project on evolution, which he kept track of on his blog, www.evillusion.net. Blume made videos and uploaded them to YouTube with the goal of opening people's minds and getting them to think on a different plane than the one they were handed in school. Through all of his research, his blog, his videos, thousands of discussions with evolution supporters, including biologists with PhDs and master's degrees, and many leading YouTube evolution gurus, his book Evo-illusion was born.
