À propos de l?auteur

Bernard Neeson lives in Dublin, Ireland. An Invitation to Hitler was inspired by a throwaway statement in Winston Churchill's History of the Second World War.
As Neeson researched the story, reading the histories, biographies and cabinet papers from the period, it became clear that there might be more to Churchill's words than meets the eye. What began as a short story began to gather legs as he discovered many half-hidden facts and even more innuendo.
Visiting the sites and sailing the waters helped add context, and even more so, atmosphere.
Neeson remains fascinated by the period and its intrigues. With the final British files on the Second World War not due for release until 2017, he is convinced that there is more to be told.
