Elaine and Paul Jean are empty nesters with an incurable case of wanderlust. Elaine is a nonfiction writer and has contributed hundreds of columns and feature stories to local newspapers, including the Loudoun Independent, the Loudoun Times-Mirror and the Fairfax County Times. Paul is a mild-mannered engineering manager by day and a freelance photographer to his core. Over three decades ago the couple became husband and wife, and in 2010 they married Elaine’s words to Paul’s photos while exploring the Mid-Atlantic region.
