"Ian Fraser’s life is an extraordinary one by any standard. Here is a man who sprang into the world in West Africa and landed in Indianapolis by way of Jamaica, Scotland and England. At every stage of his long and well-lived life, he has met with colorful events, cultivated relationships with fascinating people and made generous contributions to his community and world." --from the Preface by Ryan Messer For the thousands who have heard Ian Fraser speak on art and listened to the amusing anecdotes of his life, this memoir will be a genuine treat. Reflecting that which is the stuff of legend in its author, the book fairly pulses with energy. Ian Fraser's stories of his eight decades of life in the world of art, travel, love and friendship make edifying and fascinating reading.
