Home chef, food blogger, cookbook author, entertaining expert and host of NBC CT Everyday to Gourmet cooking show Cindy Barbieri Anschutz is cooking up quite a career in the kitchen these days. With a unique background of family focused culinary cuisine and a niche for entertaining, Cindy is a focused and devoted “foodie”. Born in Massachusetts, Cindy grew up learning her love for cooking in her Nana’s kitchen, where they would spend hours preparing meals for their large Italian family. It was from there that her love for cooking took roots and began to grow. Formally, the owner of a software computer training company, Cindy made the decision a few years ago to say good-bye to corporate America and work full-time at fulfilling her lifelong dream of pursuing her passion as a home chef and entertaining expert. So far Cindy’s journey has landed her on several local network television and radio show. Cindy also has a cooking show on NBC CT called "Everyday to Gourmet" In September of 2012, Cindy (self-published or debuted) her first cookbook, Cindy’s Kitchen and recently decided to change the title to Cindy's Table to keep her brand consistent. With both of her children grown, this mother and grandmother of two spends much of her time in her large country kitchen in Marlborough Connecticut, whipping up new recipes, often times with an audience of her husband Glenn and their Jack Russell Terrier, Jake. Cindy loves to entertain and share her entertaining tips with her followers on Facebook, her weekly blog and in her monthly newsletter. Whether it’s a holiday, special event or dinner party, Cindy has great recipes and ideas to share with everyone!
