This is a collection of amusing stories, essays, bloggings, and thoughts from Kevin's life. Many magazines, e-zines, and newsletters have published his stories. His humor and style of writing sets him apart from the norm. Some publications have honored him with awards, as well. Kevin has the ability to take common everyday events and find the humor in them - things that most of us can relate to, which is why they are so popular. Many authors seem to try too hard, but Kevin has a sense of what is funny. Readers can tell he is having fun telling the story yet knows when to stop and not take things too far. Kevin's pastoral side comes out in the last chapter and has become a signature part of his books. This actually completes the concept of Kevin being humorous, sometimes odd, but certainly helpful.

Kevin resides in Sioux Falls, SD with his wife Katie of 33 years, his Yorkshire Terrier, T-Bone Dickens. He has done many things in his life from auto body repairman to Baptist pastor, which show up in his humorous stories. Once Parkinson's disease entered his life, he began writing creatively in earnest. Many, who prefer to remain anonymous, have compared his unique sense of humor and writing style to Patrick F. McManus. He has had several humorous stories published in The Motor Market magazine (www.themotormarket.com), Clever Magazine (www.clevermag.com), The Storyteller Magazine (www.thestorytellermagazine.com), Humor Press (www.humorpress.com). He writes a column “Life's Amusing Moments” for Plains Magazine (www.plainsmagazine.com). He also writes a column for the NPFSD Newsletter (www.npfsouthdakota.org) called “Wanderings through My Ponderings” and serves on the board for the National Parkinson Foundation South Dakota chapter and the South Dakota Authors Assoc. He also serves as co-administrator on a Young Onset Parkinson's Disease Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/groups/YOPD1/). He has jumped on the independent author bandwagon and published a book of Parkinson’s disease observations and experiences called “I Forgot That I Remembered,. Because of this book, he received the honor of being a presenter at the South Dakota Book Festival in 2012 (southdakotabookfestival.com/presenters) and included in a video by South Dakota Public Broadcasting on Youtube (www.youtube.com/watch?v=clcxpjYcn6s). Kevin's his second book of humorous stories from his life called “Just Me, Humorous, Helpful & Odd."
