Synopsis

Trevor is part of an elite squad of Super Ninja Alien Robot Monsters--aliens from Alpha Centauri--the strongest, meanest and, possibly, dumbest life-forms in the Galaxy. Trevor's mission: Destroy Earth. The problem is ... he doesn't really want to. He can't tell anyone this, of course, or he'll be banished to the outer reaches of the Universe. So, together with a misfit squad of aliens, Trevor undertakes the long journey to Earth, all the while trying to figure out how he can possibly make the unfailable mission fail. ... this is his hilarious illustrated diary of the events that took place.

À propos de l'auteur

For a long time I dabbled in cartooning, illustration and film. This included: writing and illustrating cards for a major greeting card company, awards for my comedy short film "The Brink", and a couple feature-writing assignments for producers in Hollywood. My focus switched to writing books for children when I started reading to my boys at bedtime. It's a great way to connect, even if the rest of the day has been too busy. I wanted to write books that boys would love, and their parents might also enjoy reading. What I found was that girls liked reading the books too - even though they were about robots and space. I like humor - a lot. I also see great value in the tradition of storytelling to demonstrate concepts that may help children traverse some of life's difficulties (such as being called 'Farty bum breath'). My books are for middle readers (7-12 years). Besides working on the second Super Ninja and Trevor books, I'm currently working on a book for advanced readers called, Clown Town.
