Mark Strauss is a survivor of the Holocaust who lived in Poland under the German occupation. During his sixty-five year residency in the United States, the author lived a rich life as a scientist, educator, farmer and artist whose work is displayed in many thousands of homes throughout the world. Dr Strauss' professional quests made him familiar with the the cultures of universities, U.S.government, homeless people, Latino communities and rural folk. Dr Strauss uses the gained knowledge from his European and American experiences in his books - the settings and characters in his novels are authentic.The drama which he creates makes his stories exciting as well as instructional.
