Edward H. Laughlin, MD, is a surgical oncologist and professor of surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Regional Medical Campus--Huntsville. A graduate of Duke University School of Medicine, he received surgical training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Virginia Hospital. He is the author of two books and numerous journal articles related to malignant disease. Dr. Laughlin is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the American society of Clinical Oncology.
