Biographie de l'auteur

Gilbert Keith Chesterton (born May 29, 1874, died June 14, 1936) was an English writer, lay theologian, poet, philosopher, dramatist, journalist, orator, literary and art critic, biographer, and Christian apologist. He is often referred to as the “prince of paradox”. He is well known for his fictional priest-detective Father Brown, and for his reasoned apologetics. Gilbert Keith Chesterton died of congestive heart failure on the morning of 14 June 1936, at his home in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
