Synopsis

Beverley learns about God from the Bible stories in kindergarten and invites Him to come to Jamaica. She goes home each day and waits for Him to show up. Will He come?

Join Beverley on her childhood journey as she relentlessly seeks after the truth of God. With drive and imagination, she determines to be "Bev, The Spirit-Fighter," joining with God to fight evil and lead people to Him. But when God doesn't appear, she loses heart.

In her teens, she becomes a nightclub and party girl, even though she knows this isn't the life God desires for her. Then one day God shows up and calls her to do His work. She finally says yes, and her story comes full circle-a story bigger than she could ever imagine.

A beautiful testimony to the faithfulness of God, Growing Up with God will inspire readers to give themselves whole-heartedly to the Lord.
