RICHARD J. SCHOECK, Professor and Head of the Department of English, St. Michael's College, University of Toronto, is one of the editors of the Yale Edition of the Complete Works of St. Thomas More, and has edited a number of other texts and volumes of criticism, Professor Schoeck was Chairman of the editorial conference from which this volume derives.
