A recipient of the Wenjin Book Award, he has also served as a juror for the prestigious Feng Zikai Chinese Children's Picture Book Award. Tan Fengxia is a distinguished professor of children's literature and a two-time juror for the Hans Christian Andersen Award (2024, 2026)-- the highest international honor in children's books.
