À propos de l'auteur

Dr Brian McDonogh, MBChB, BMedSci, MScNutrMed, is a specialist in Nutritional Medicine with more than 20 years experience as a General Practitioner. In 2001 he became the very first graduate of the Masters' Degree in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey, adding to the two medical degrees he already held. He practises what is known as Integrated Medicine, combining conventional and complementary therapies. This enables him to take an holistic approach to identifying and treating the underlying causes of ill-health. Dr McDonogh regularly lectures in his specialist field to university and college students, gives talks to interested self-help groups and charities and provides educational sessions for healthcare professionals. He has many television and radio appearances to his credit and is often interviewed for newspaper and magazine articles. Originally from South Africa, Dr McDonogh moved here with his family 7 years ago. He has worked as a GP within the confines of the NHS, as well as in private practice in Harley Street. Now with his own practice in Horsham, he aims to bring the facilities of London to West Sussex, making Integrated Medicine more accessible.
