Moisaque Blanc Most writers stick to one genre, but I feel where one stays comfortable for too long, lead them to live predictable lives. Like a teleporter, I tend to jump around…from one genre to the next that is. I started out in the field of comedy where I wrote my first book, METER MADE. From there I explored the mind and heart of relationships when I wrote THE 12 LISTS MEN AND WOMEN THINK THEY KNOW. This particular book actually helped to change the lives of my readers. Book signing after book signing I have heard the same question, “What made you write such an inspirational book?” I never get tired of hearing it. So, I stare into my readers’ eyes, and smile. I take a deep breath and tell them…The answer is right in front of me. Roy A. Gonzales Writing for over twenty years. I started falling in love with writing after watching STAR WARS for the first time, and getting a hold of the script. It was also at that time that I saw LAURANCE OF ARABA and fell in love with the epic. I wanted to see more like it, so I went to the movies as much as I could. I wanted to see how the director put scenes together to help me with my screen writing. After reading many scripts, I wanted to see how someone could describe it on the page and bring it to life on the screen. I was amazed how putting a script together could be compared to writing music or painting a picture. At least, it is how I approach writing a script. Since SHADOW OF DARKNESS started as a screenplay, and now it is a beautiful comic book. I am pleased and amazed how my words have come to life on the comic book page. After twenty years of hard work, I am able to see my work come to life. In the past, I have been asked, “What are my goals as a writer?” I feel that my goals are to live long enough to see all the scripts I have racing around in my head, written and produced. I feel I am working with the right team to make this happen. Prodigy6 is moving forward with films, books, and other media. Working with Prodigy6 has helped me fulfill my vision as to what SHADOW OF DARKNESS would look like. All the talented people working at Prodigy6 have made this come true. I hope to work on other projects with them in the future.
