A. L. Elder is an independent author. She lives with her husband of sixteen years, and her yellow Labrador, Haole in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon. She is a career girl, college student, step-mother and avid writer. Her passion for writing began at the age of nine. She spent her childhood riding her horse, Jake and gardening with her Grandfather. Adult responsibilities took precedence over her passion for writing. In 2012 she took a creative writing class in college and the dam restraining her imagination quickly turned from a trickle of ideas to a flood of stories waiting to be written.
