Synopsis

Amusements is Ryan T. Pugh's first book. And he wants you to forgive him for that. It is crammed with short, snappy, and ultimately meaningless odes and rants on the following subjects: smelly people, Michael Jackson, Blind Date, failed diets, Instagram, flies, Saved By The Bell, online dating, Jim Corr, modern fiction, Xbox Live and pile cream. And many, many more. Revised and (slightly) updated for 2020, Amusements is strictly recommended for completists only...

À propos de l'auteur

Ryan T. Pugh was born in a Norfolk village in 1983. He went to school with Alan Partridge, Stephen Fry and Horatio Nelson. He stayed in Norfolk until the pulsating High Wycombe art scene enticed him away to earn a degree in Creative Writing. He is the only person in the world to whom the previous sentence applies. Ryan spent a period of his young manhood being raised by a panther. During this time, he befriended a bear and had a run-in with a fire-obsessed orangutan. Although this was a difficult period of his life, he’s still proud of some of the songs he and the animals managed to knock up, completely off the cuff. Ryan is now back in Norfolk with a bang (and precious little hair). He is a teacher of English and Music. He writes in his spare time i.e. whenever rain interrupts his Sky signal. Ryan lives alone but is fond of company. This is his first book.
