Biographie de l'auteur

DR. ARNOLD MELNICK accumulated tremendous experience with children through his 30 years as private practitioner of pediatrics, followed by a long stint in medical education as Founding Dean of the Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine. His global interest in children led him to become President of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians, as well as eleven other professional organizations. In addition, he has been honored with five fellowship degrees and eighteen distinguished service awards from professional groups. Since his retirement as Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost of the Health Professions Division of Nova Southeastern University, where he also served as Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health, he has devoted himself to medical communication, having published eleven books, three monographs and more than 220 professional articles
