Leonard Critcher is an author, speaker, trainer and columnist with four decades of experience in the Financial Services Industry. A native of Houston, TX, he holds degrees and professional designations from Centenary College, Ohio University, The American College and Cannon Financial Institute. His broad experience in Financial Services management led him to open The F.I.R.M. in 1987, a boutique financial planning firm specializing in wealth preservation and asset protection. A renowned innovator of unique and sound planning strategies, Critcher developed and marketed The F.I.R.M. plan, used nationally by over 1,000 Financial Advisors to shield physicians' Accounts Receivable from malpractice litigation. He also served on the Educational Board of The Wealth Preservation Institute and was a contributing editor for course material. Critcher's unique style of writing has been widely acclaimed for his ability to take complex subjects and present them in an easy to understand manner. He has authored three non-fiction books, two fictional novels, numerous professional articles, and writes a Blog that deals with financial planning issues. Prior to writing his fourth business book, COVERING YOUR ASSets, he held the position of Senior Wealth Planner for the Texas Market of a major, national bank. He is married to his college sweetheart, and they reside in Dallas, TX and White Bluff Resort on Lake Whitney, TX.
