Synopsis

Everyday we are bombarded with news of the challenges that churches and faith communities have at reaching an increasingly unchurched world. Scott argues that much of what you think you know about upcoming generations might not be true; that the Millennial generation is in the “Death Valley” of religion and over the next two decades will return to the flock and that churches need to be ready for them. He also focuses on the forgotten Gen X as the key to faith leadership. Scott’s presentation combines the latest research and his own experiences, and the insights of growing churches around the US to provide faith leaders with a concrete toolbox they can use in their own congregations. Scott is an award-winning sales person and executive with almost 20 years of experience in commercial real estate sales and executive management, and a member of St. Luke’s UMC in Houston, Texas.
